Configuring your E-mail client software
As an IT Solutions Web Hosting client you should use these settings to configure your software to check your email. Your
setup process will vary according to the software you use, but this
configuration information will be
needed. The procedure for MS Outlook is described below.
Remember to replace "username" with your actual username, and replace
"yourdomain.com" with your actual domain name.
Note: These instructions apply to most other hosting services as well, such as your personal email accounts. However, some details may change and must be verified with the particular provider. Changes that are most likely expected are the names of their SMTP or POP servers. eg. mail.myprovider.com, smtp.myprovider.com, pop.myprovider.com, etc.

MS Outlook Setup Tutorial
1. Start Outlook. Select "Accounts" from the Tool menu.
2. Select the "Add" button and choose
"Mail".
3. Enter your real name in the "Display name" text box.
4. Click the "Next" button to continue.
5. Enter your email address (in the form of username@yourname.com) in the
"E-mail address" text box. Click the "Next" button to
continue.
6. Enter the incoming mail server name (in the form of mail.yourname.com) in the
"Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server" text box.
7. Enter the outgoing mail server name (in the form of mail.yourname.com) in the
"Outgoing mail (SMTP) server" text box.
8. Click the "Next button" to continue.
9. Select POP3 from the "my incoming mail server is a" drop-down
menu.
10. Enter your email username and password.
11. Enter your account name (in the form of: username.yourname.com) in the
"Account name" text box.
12. Enter your account password in the "Password" text box. Your
password is hidden for security reasons.
13. Click the "Next" button to continue.
14. Enter your connection type and click the
"Next" button to continue.
15. Click the "Finish" button.
